A NASS member is planning to marry off 100 orphanage girls in Kebbi State.

Sani Yakubu Noma, a member of the House of Representatives representing Argungu/Aji Federal Constituency in Kebbi State, has said he has arranged the marriages of 100 orphaned girls in Kebbi State.

Speaking to reporters in his hometown in Argungu District of Kebbi State, the lawmaker said the wedding plans were part of his contribution to the welfare of orphans in his constituency. According to him, the wedding will take place on Saturday, November 25, at the palace of His Majesty Emir Alhaji Samaila Mohammed Merah in Argungu. “We have created a committee to ensure the success of the event,” he said. Those chosen for the wedding were from the two municipalities represented in the National Assembly. “We purchased beds, mattresses, necessary furniture and other wedding items for the beneficiaries.”
