A Finland-based Nigerian Beefarmer and president of African Development Concepts Ry in Finland, Ambassador Agim Godwin Apple, has announced plans to support tomatoes and pepper farmers in Cross River State during his visit to the Ruissalo Botanical Garden in Turku.

Ambassador Godwin Apple, who envisioned the direct sunlight and rainfall on the fertile ground in Africa, believes that the local farmers could do better if they were provided with financial assistance.

To this end, Ambassador Godwin Apple has detailed that the AFDEVCO (African Development Concepts) will release excess funds from honey sales to support the small-scale farmers in the state under the AYADE FARMERS FORUM program.

In his speech, the President, Agim Godwin Apple, also made recommendations for self-relief through owning a small farm garden.
