APC kicks against Alleged Protests Against Tinubu in the United Kingdom

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) UK chapter has condemned plans by a group to protest Bola Tinubu in the UK.

The chapter’s chairman, Tunde Doherty, issued a statement in Lagos on Friday, November 3, describing the planned protest.

Doherty, who is also APC diaspora chairman, said: “It has come to our knowledge that this group is organizing a protest in London to spread unsubstantiated claims about President Bola Tinubu’s academic record.

We are convinced that our responsibility is to address this issue and emphasize the importance of relying on substantiated facts rather than premature and unsubstantiated claims.”

President Bola Tinubu is a skilled and distinguished statesman with a long and illustrious record of service to our great nation. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the betterment of Nigeria and its people.

The allegations of certificate forgery not only lack concrete evidence, but undermine the spirit of democracy and the fair political discourse we hold dear.”

The chairman said APC diaspora leaders support Tinubu.

We urge those planning to participate in this protest to consider the potential consequences of spreading unfounded allegations and misinformation.

In the spirit of constructive dialogue and unity, we encourage a more constructive approach to addressing concerns and grievances related to the country’s leadership.”

Let our discussions be respectful and evidence-based in order to promote progress and preserve the dignity of our great nation.

We firmly believe in the power of informed, collaborative, fact-based solutions to move our nation forward.”
