Elvert, Akiba, Gilbert, and Other Top Government Officials Pay Tribute to Her Excellency, Mrs. Eyoanwan Edet Otu on Her 60th Birthday.

The Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly (CRSHA), Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, alongside several other top government officials, were in attendance at a special sporting event organized as part of the celebrations for the just concluded 60th Birthday Anniversary of Her Excellency Mrs. Eyoanwan Edet Otu, the wife of the Governor of Cross River State.
Held at the U.J Esuene Sports Stadium, Calabar, on 9th April, 2024, The Mma-Adiaha Pre-Birthday Super Cup match, featured a thrilling showdown between Mma-Adiaha FC and Sweet Prince FC, a fitting tribute to the First Lady’s 60th Birthday.
Among the notable attendees were Barr Ekpenyong Akiba, Special Adviser General Duties to Governor Bassey Edet Otu & Chairman, Forum of Special Advisers, Cross River State, Barr Gilbert Agbor, Special Adviser Asset Management & Recovery, Hon. Effefiong Nta Eke, Director General of the Cross River State Infrastructural Development Agency, a fitting tribute to the First Lady’s 60th Birthday.
Others who were also present at the event, adding prestige to the occasion, included Hon. Stanley Nsemo Okon, Member representing Calabar Municipal State Constituency; Hon. Erasmus Ekpang, Commissioner for Information; Mr. Charles Atu, Director General of the Due Process and Price Intelligence Bureau, and Mr. Sunday Michael, Special Adviser for Obudu Ranch Resort, among others.
The colourful event which concluded with a 5-4 victory in a penalty shootout, favoring Team Mma-Adiaha FC, aimed at promoting the spirit of sportsmanship among the people of Cross River State.
