HRWF President loud the Humanitarian Affairs Minister to channel concern over the negligence of the Obanliku people.
This was immediately after the people of Obanliku took to streets and the general hospital Sankwala over the negligence of the Obanliku people in the northern senatorial zone of Cross River State, by medical workers.
Ambassador Agim Godwin Apple, President and Founder of the Human Rights Watch and Youths Empowerment Foundation Nigeria, is calling on the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and the Health sector to arrest the situation and avoid escalation that may result to more deaths.
Report said it that a lady was abandoned in the Labour room with part of the baby out and other part still in, and both the lady and the baby died under the gross negligence of the hospital authority.
The Human Rights Watch and Youths Empowerment Foundation Nigeria, regret this ugly incident while sympathising with the people of Obanliku in Cross River State, Nigeria.
