In Kwara State, a polytechnic student was killed at her apartment

Toyin Bamidele, a female student of the Federal Polytechnic in Offa, Kwara State, has been beaten to death by yet-to-be-identified persons

The student, a food technology major, was reportedly killed in a rented apartment off campus on Thursday, November 16.

In response to the incident, Ms. Folake Oyinloye, the school’s acting director of public relations, said in a statement;

The administration strongly condemns this inhumane act.

The circumstances behind the incident are still unclear, but an investigation is currently underway by the appropriate security agencies to unmask the wrongdoers and identify the culprits as a matter of urgency.” Her death is an irreparable loss to the entire management and staff of the polytechnic.

Management expresses its solemn condolences to her family, friends, and the Department of Food Technology for their great loss and urges anyone with useful information regarding this incident to report it to the security authorities.

Management prays to God to grant her soul peace and eternal rest and to help her family endure the loss
